We are planners that deal with all types of events and weddings with a range of budgets. We have used Lamar at DonHau Entertainment for two different weddings and one corporate event. He is fun and very outgoing and does a great job in reading the crowd and he is very accommodating and personal to everyone.

Lamar was great! We only had 2 weeks to find a DJ and had a couple of offers but went with him due to his communication, flexibility, and other reviews. The reviews weren’t misleading, he absolutely killed it all night. Playlists were great, he did requests and had every song we asked for. He definitely kept the mood up all night and we will happily use him again for any events we need in the future.

Lamar was awesome from the beginning. He was easy to talk to and work with. He has a cool app for planning and music too. He was flexible with the music and our guests loved him. Lamar was so dope, from the first set of communication to the day of the service he was professional, kind and very easy to talk to. He hyped up the crowd like no other and had awesome remixes that everyone seemed to love. We will definitely be using him in the future and recommending him to others.

He was detail-oriented throughout the planning process. During the reception he was skilled at adjusting the set to read the room. Lamar was an amazing DJ. We hired him for my father’s 80th birthday, and his DJ equipment, skills, and playlist exceeded my expectations. Lamar was a joy to work with, super responsive, thinking of all the points in our wedding ceremony & reception when we would want a special song. As soon as we met at our pre-wedding meeting, we had complete confidence in his skills & ability to keep our guests engaged, informed & dancing! He was so charming that several guests talked to him about their own upcoming parties.

DJ was the best ever — he played our song, he played songs we asked and requested, and he brought people to life. He brought our party a special touch and made our vow renewal magic, a moment to remember. We had guests from 2 months to 92 years old, and I swear the 2-month-old and the 92-year-old danced! I would hire him again for any gathering to celebrate life, love, and togetherness.

For my walk down the aisle song, he made a mix that incorporated the part of the song I wanted and transitioned it smoothly into instrumental. He also uses an app that allows you to select songs, make playlists, add notes, and invite guests to make song requests. I would definitely recommend him and work with him again!

Lamar was the consummate professional starting from day 1. He had a plan and vision and very clearly articulated what he could and could not do in our initial consult. He did not try to upsell and gave us very honest feedback on what he thought we needed for our venue.
